Well, I re-timed my car yesterday, and well i've timed it so far that the distributor won't budge any further for advancment.. And well there's no pinging or nothing out of the unusal. But since I did this the car just acts plub nasty. (not in a bad way but in a good way). Do these 355's just like advanced timing or what? And plus I still have the 305 chip in the car. So im wondering, If i put in a custom burnt chip, set for the timing I have, injectors, gears, and the motor size, how much of a difference is this gonna make in the car?

Cause when I got the car the timing was set at like 6 degree's lmao.. now I think it's set at like 15 degree's or more..

 

That sounds odd...Did you unhook the ESC to set the timing? 6deg BTDC is stock on these cars. Do you have access to a scantool?? I'm supprised it's not pinging out the wazoo. Maybe it is and pulling timing back out. Something just seems weird.

 

Yeah I unhooked the ESC to set the timing... very odd, I don't know what's up, I would of thought I would have pinging out the wazoo also..


oh and another thing when im at idle sitting at a light or whatever car feels like it's camming. and plus when I put the car in neutrual, and rev the car up damn thing wants to take off .
