Another "My car won't start" thread

After swapping in a rebuilt L98, I can't get the car to even crank.
Voltage from the battery terminals is 12+, voltage off the starter is 12+, the security light goes out after a couple seconds when turning the key, the fuel pump hums ... but the engine still doesn't even attempt to crank. There weren't any known issues when I took out the TPI LB9.

It appears all the wires and grounds are hooked up correctly.

I will give $100 to anybody who shows up at my house and gets my Firebird started. (PM me for directions.)

I've searched and can't narrow my problem down to anything.

Pat

just take a ratchet and turn the crank and see how easily it turns
it shouldnt be too dificult
if that seems normal there are a few other things

take your starter into autozone and get it tested for free
if that isnt it
the problem would be with your ignition and or maybe starter relay and or wiring in the circuit

if everything still seems to check out clean make sure where everything is grounded is clean and paint free
especialy grounds

i hope that helps you in some way
but im sure im not the best mechanic around this forum but i think its a good way to start trying to figure it out

Are you getting 12v at the starter switch?!?

Start by checking the voltage at the starter enable relay, if you have voltage there, go to pin "F" of the Park/Neutral switch and check it there. If you have power there, jumper pin "F" and the purple wire at the connector and see if it starts. If it doesn't, leave the jumper in and check for power at the small terminal on the starter solenoid marked "S" not "R". The post marked "R" is for a remote starter. Also check all your connections again just to be sure you didn't miss anything.
