fuelie heads

i keep hearing about these fuelie heads. but what are they? i seriously have no idea. please help. are they good, bad, gas-efficient, etc.???

Old cast iron heads from the 60s and early 70s. I think they originally came on the Fuel injected Vette's hence thier name of "Fulie Heads". The general concensus is they were good back in thier day but there is better stuff out now.


EDIT: Just a curiosity but does anyone have flow numbers of these heads? The 2.02 I 1.6 Ex variety.

Slightly ported 416's with larger valves will out flow them.
