Where does this hose go?

I had my manifolds replaced a while back and ever since this hose hasn't been connected anywhere. It was brought to my attention again because I recently had a small engine fire and some of the hoses burned (as you can see) I got a few replacements from a junked car that didn't seem to have the same hose setup as mine...can somone shed some light on where this hose goes?

Well I drew in the lines to where it comes from and the other hoses that it is connected to. There seems to be a "Y" hook up to the other hoses.

Looks like your air injection stuff... that hose probably goes on the back of the smog pump

Dang, it's been a long time since my car was stock and I can't remember how everything went. The smog pump is below the alt but there's already that one molded hose going to it. Can't remember if there was another port on the back or what. Don't even remember if there was a Y in the hose like yours. Hopefully someone chimes in with a diagram. You're missing the sticker on the fan shroud that would tell you the routing.

Yeah I know...that sticker is long gone. I ask because all the other hoses do go somewhere, but I just can't find anywhere missing a hose. Also like I mentioned in my initial post the car I took a new hose from, from my recollection didn't have the exact setup I have. I have a feeling its just an unecessary hose.

Probably. Don't think mine ever used that Y fitting, just had the 2 hoses going to the air injection rails. If you have enough slack for the driver side hose, just take out the Y fitting and stick the hose on the port.

Yeah I think I'll try that...unless someone says otherwise. That isn't the original engine to begin with also, so it might be a reason why its not connected, its a 305 off an 80's Caprice. I just don't know why I never tntcied it before though.
