High Flow MAF for Third Gen

I just got my May issue of Car Craft and it has an article on Mass Flow vs. Speed Density. Anyway, the interesting part is about the TPI maf systems. The article states that "Granatelli says it is possible to adapt Ford meters to them (GM TPI) via a conversion wiring harness. Custom calibration is required, so Granatelli prefers to do the changeover in-house". The article does not address the 255 gr/sec limit of our computers. I talked to Ed at FastChip and he said that the 255 gr/sec limit can be over come in the third generation maf cars via a custom PROM by cutting all the maf values in half and the recalibrating all the other parameters to match. Maybe Vader can give some input on this.
