i jsut put rebuilt my motor this winter and i put new rings , bearings, new valve guides, got a valve job done, new cam intake, heads, and when i pulled my pcv out of the valve cover, when i get on the gasu can see abit of smoke, even a fine bit jsut when its idling, i have only put less than 50 kilometres on it since hte rebuild! and my oil is withing the full range.


is it normal to smoke? i have liek no exhaust smoke i jsut get abit out of my pcv, it evne smoeks abit evne after i shut the motor off like 10 or 15 minutes later it slowly stops

 

Sounds pretty normal.

 

Yep, it should be oil vapor.
