Best inline fuel filter for sugar?
Found my new toy did have sugar dumped in the gas tank
I'm going to pull it out after work and flush it as best as I can but want a little extra insurance.
I'm basicly looking for an inline filter clear would be nice that will stop any leftovers from getting up into the carb, this carb it a PITA to take apart. Thats a job I dont want to do again.
Thanks!

Ooops...
Go to the parts store and get a WIX transparent filter. Ive had them on my trucks for years. My carburetor bowls have stayed perfectly clean. Im unsure of the part number, but any person at the parts store should know what you are talking about.

Three words, Locking Gas Cap. Just for next time, so some jerk won't be able to do this to you.

Been realy busy latelty so a quick update.
Still havent pulled the tank, I did sample 20oz of fuel and it seemed fine but I'm going to pull the tank anyway to make sure.
All the tanks Ive pulled that had sugar in them usually have big peices that have clumped togather so I hope that what happend here or theres nothing left in the tank.
The real funny part is this car has a locking access door the requires the ignition key to open so I'm thinking inside job or they just dumped it down the carb. It did eat the no.3 exhaust valve but thats cured now.
