I recently removed all my ac and heater crap in the car, so now i have this nice big open space by the passenger side firewall now what i would like to do is. move the plastic box thingy for the AIR system near my firewall.. i can easily reroute the rubber hoses.. but what about the metal tube from the smog pump? can i cut that near where it mounts and run a rubber line from that?

i think accomplishing this would give the engine an even cleaner look

thoughts/suggestions/opinions ?

 

Or you could just get rid of it all. (ignore the heater control valve that's disappering this weekend)

 

he lives in CA, he needs emissions.
