Are my calculations right? I need some new tires for my camaro (no flaming please) and the 245/45's are on back order for atleast a month. I don't know wether to wait or not. Right now, when it shifts into 2nd at anything over 3500 it seems like the tranny is slipping. I thought thats what it was until it did it and just eased into it somemore and my tires(well, tire sometimes) started smoking. Yes I know it was my tire too, I could smell it aswell.
Q: is the added ride height only 1/4 in more with 245/50-16's as apposed to 245/45-16's?
