Replaced some things, car ran, then died, now won't start???
Ok, 91 Formula lb9 5spd, 110k.
I'd been driving the car off and on for about 3 months, then left it sit (outside) for about 3 weeks before I made the attempt to start it again. It turned over, but wouldn't start.
First- I didn't smell gas so I put fuel in the tank since it was low(doing the idiot stuff 1st) then I thought it was a fuel issue (the pump was turning on) so I thought it might be the fuel filter since the car was trying to start when I used starting fluid. I replaced the filter, it still wouldn't start.
Second- I pulled a plug and checked spark to be sure, and I wasn't getting one, so I replaced the coil. Still wouldn't start, so I replaced the ignition module (I noticed it had already been replaced once), and the car fired up and sounded great! I let it idle and gently revved it for about 10 minutes, then I hopped in and drove it up the street. It felt great, then I made it about a block from my house, the check engine light kind of flickered on and off and the car died. It wouldn't start after that, not even a couple hours later.
Now I'm back to square one. Is there something that may have caused this? I'm a novice when it comes to working on cars, but I figure things out relatively well. Any suggestions, or anyone out there had this happen that can tell me what they did?
Thanks!!!

Are you still getting spark? What is your fuel pressure? When you try to crank it now does it turn over at all? I agree with dankhound. Find out what the code is.
Ok, I hope I wasn't posing prematurely, but I pushed it back into my driveway and started on other things. The car is turning over just fine (like it was before), and the check engine light was flickering as the car was dying, but I'll try to get the code. As far as fuel pressure, I don't know, but the car was running great and abruptly stopped, and was definately not a fuel issue to get it running initually, so I assumed that it wasn't a problem.
I'll check a couple of things out and post again with updates, if anybody has any other input feel free to chime in.
Thanks again!

The computer doesnt monitor fuel pressure so thats not what caused your light to flicker. Before your go chasing your tail find out what the ecm was trying to tell you. Its not like the special tool(paperclip) costs a ton of money.
