I have a painless wiring kit for my Holley Blue pump and I just replaced the pump tonight. Problem is that the pump kicked off and lost all fuel pressure on the gauge. I turned the key off and turned the key on to see if the pump was running and it wasn't. I turned the key off and on again and the pump started running with 6 psi.

I don't think it's a short because it did this sitting in the garage with no vibration such as bumps and pot holes. The other pump was only giving me about 3 psi. and sounded like it was dying. Any help is appreciated.
