Problem: The car will run normally but then will simply lose idle and die quite quickly. If I back off the gas and let it come out of gear when approaching a light or stop sign it dies. Sometimes I can manage to start the car again and keep going for a bit and then same thing will occur. Eventually I will not be able to start the car again.

Duration: Started two days ago. Seems to start no problem in the morning and run fine but then have problems after driving for a bit.

- Computer is throwing no codes.
- I can hear the fuel pump prime the line when turn ignition without starting.
- Assuming car is running, it responds and feels normal.

I have a fuel filter that I am going to replace, but those I have mentioned this to say it shouldn't be just the filter,

what year and engine?

Mine did that once.. but it is carburated and it was all dirty, so maybe that had something to do with it. hasn't done it since.

I have near new injectors... maybe 5k on them. I am confident it is not a problem with that.

Rememember that the car runs perfectly up until the point that it dies!
