Ol' Stinky (Car running Rich)

Hi all,

Getting really rich smelling exhaust. What would you all suggest checking first to remedy? I've got an '88 IROC with 350 TPI. I put scanner on it tonite but no codes and I don't know what the value's should be for the different sensors and switches and such so I don't really know where to start. ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Could be a bad o2 sensor.

check timing, o2 sensor, and coolant temp sensor
