rear end

when I do a burn-out both tires spin and I was wondering if I have a posi-rear end. Do non posi-rear ends ever spin both tires or do they only do a one wheel peel??

thanks

open diffs will occasionally spin both rear tires. need more info on the car to know if it has a posi in it. or you can check for the rpo g80.

IF you jack the back off the ground on both sides you can tell, if you turn one tire forward and the other one turns in the same direction you have a posi..if you do this and the other one turns in the opposite direction you don't..

only way to be 100% sure is to pull the cover and look. it sounds like you have posi, if you also had the g80 rpo then i'd say you do. wouldn't hurt to pull cover to look around anyway, change the lube and add a bottle of posi additive.
