The car feels slow as hell. I mean I get on it and the car screams but doesnt seem any faster at all. It seems my stock chip was more of a bang. If it doesnt prove well at the track next week. I'm sending it back.

You're probably encountering knock retard. This is the problem with a lot of eproms. While they may add some spark, often it cause the retard to kick in and you end up loosing more effective spark than you actually gain.
Also, a common problem is they tend to add fuel. Unless you have heads/cam, you generally need LESS fuel as the GM memcal is already too rich. This is why so many SD cars actually can do a fair amount of mods on the existing eprom without needing a prom change...they are actually getting closer to the proper mixture.
Might want to consider burning your own.

No, I would suggest getting a scan tool to find out what your engine is telling you. Without it, your just guessing. Besides, with some supportable scan tool info, Ed generally will re-do the eprom upto 3 times free of charge to get it right. Without that info, Ed (or anyone else for that matter) won't be able to make the appropriate changes.
Then you can ask him to also make it for 180* instead of 160*.

Check where your BLM/INT values are. If its MAF, then you want those values for various gm/sec. If its SD, then you want them for various RPM/MAP.
Also, note the amount of knock retard you encounter. You do need a method of capturing this data as it is pretty hard to see this while you are driving.
