Oil leaking from something below Oil Pressure Sendnig Unit

On my 2.8, right below the oil pressure sender, theres something else there with wires coming out of it. If I pull it out a little bit, oil comes out. It seems like a plastic piece around it has broke.

What the hell is this thing?

i've never orked on a 2.8 so i don't know much about them. i'd guess your oil sender is leaking and it's getting on the thing with the wires.

Never worked on that engine...but the only plugs you should see would be a oil pressure sender, oil level sensor, and your drain plug. Sometimes these plugs have rubber washers on them to help give a good seal. If these washers go bad, then you would get a leak. Hope this helps.
