Help with power antenna

It lasted me all winter just fine, then on the first nice day of spring a month back, it quit going up. The antenna motor would spin freely, but the antenna wouldn't move. I had to disconnect the motor so it wouldn't drain the battery as it kept spinning while the antenna wouldn't move. My guess is that it isn't the motor but the moving parts that make the antenna go up (gears???). Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it (or even the actual problem)???

That is how they usually fail. Some little gear in there strips its teeth, and that's the end of it.

You need another antenna assembly. They don't sell any of the internal parts for it. AFAIK alot of cars use the same unit so you might get lucky and catch one at the boneyard.

If it helps, the location can be a little tricky to access, so here's what you're up against:

And where it is located:

Mine did the same thing,so I turned the radio on and pulled the antenna all the way up,then disconnected the relay which is behind the trim piece below the map pocket on the dash.
