umm, teh only lines on the firewall IS the heater core

so if you pulled your heater, theres nothing for the lines to attach to anyway.

Ditto not sure what your asking.

On a side note, you yanked your heater and you live in placerville? Guess you only drive in the summer. My heater was down for almost a year before I got around to replacing my heater core, it was miserable in the winter, the cold wasn't as bad as not being able to keep the windows defrosted.

I think he is trying to ask what to do with the lines that dont connect to the firewall anymore. They will be gushing coolant if you dont do something. I would say, just connect some heater hose from the one on the pump to the intake. Should bypass just fine.

Yup, recently when i was away from home (of course) My car shifted from 1st to 2nd and right as i heard the tires chirp i saw coolant gushing down to the pass side floor. MY heater core must have burst. The coolant system is totally new besides that.
Stopped at a $ store, bought a steak knife, cut the hose from the heater core and routed it to the manifold. And cleaned up the warm green pool i had on the floor. Ill fix it before winter.

Leave the two holes open on the firewall, put a plug in where the coolant ran to the intake and block off the nipple on the raditor somehow. Other then that, thats it
