venting? cooler interior PLEASE!
my interior gets real hot driving around in the summer with both windows down, i hear this problem a lot, the car did have a/c but it's gone and i'm not putting it back in, it feel like there is no air flow to my face, and if i put the climate controls on cold and vent i get a breath of HOT air, there were some thirdgens with vent levers under the dash? how does this setup work? anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, there are controls behind the dash, and if I remember right, all thirdgens were the same in that respect. My first advice before you go any further is to replace all of your vacuum lines under the hood (my rant to everyone). Not only could it fix this problem, but it could fix idle issues or cruise control, and prevent future problems from arising out of bad vacuum lines.
If it still doesn't work after you replace those, check the lines behind the dash (remove the AC controls and radio to get to them).
Also, something I just thought of...you said you removed the AC. What did you do with the AC/heater box? Did you just leave the top part off, so the bottom of it is wide open? Did you block the top of it off? Did you use a non-AC heater box? You'll need to fix that big gaping hole left there if you haven't already before you can get some cool air in.

the controls work fine, i dont have a vacuum leak, just hot air blowing, the a/c is partially missing, the compressor is there just not the lines to the dryer or the condenser, everything else is the same

Sounds like most of your ac system is still there. If you want cold air in the summer thats probably your only option. Otherwise your just blowing HOT outside air in your face.

well i dont know if the compressor is any good, the system never worked since i owned it, and i would need a condenser, and all the lines from the condensor to the dryer and evap, plus it would have to be converted to r134

I was going to keep my AC stuff that I ripped out, but if you want and if it will work in your car, I can sell you the condensor and lines to it
The only thing I have left in my car is the compressor (too cheap to buy a pulley) and half of the AC box which I want to replace with a non-AC heater box..

Thirdgens do get a bit toasty inside come summer time, especially hardtop cars. I dident have a problem with no ac in the camaro since it was a t-top car but geezez the firebird is killer hot with no AC.
The best thing to do would be to re-install the ac components. It costs around $200 to replace the compressor, evaporator, orrifice tube and convert or recharge it yourself. Worth every penny.
