Dislikes Running Warm! HELP

In the past few weeks, for no apparents reason at all, after the car gets nice and warm, its sputters and pops when I get on the gas. I can start it up cold and drive around fine, running great, but after it gets warmed up, it runs like crap and there is almost no power! the car barley moves down the street!.
I have a fan switch in my dash, so as an expierement, I sat in a parking lot without the fan on and let it heat up to about 240 right next to the red line. When I hit the gas, I had to floor it just to get out of the parking lot, sputtering and popping barley even runnning, and no power what so ever!!

anyways, WHY IS IT DOING THIS?? I replaced the stock coil with a nice borg warner coil which seemed to help the problem for about a week, but now it has come back full force and i dont know why. someone help pleeeese

Could be a problem with the CTS. Do you ahve access to a scantool or scan software like winALDL?

this CTS sensor is definatly a suspect. altough i have no idea of where it's located. (91' 305 TBI 5spd)

Its the one right on top of the intake manifold. You can check it without a scan tool. Use your meter and backprobe one lead on the yellow wire and another on the a good ground. You should get readings between .5 and 4.5 with the readings changing as the engine heads up.
I would check to make sure your o2 is functioning properly.

On mine 305 it was right on the front of the intake manifold

yea, right in front of my face. Well i replaced the CTS and it still seems like im running on 6 cylinders. Do I need to let the motor cool before the new sensor will adjust / unplug my battery??

If this doesn't work out, the next part im going after is my O2 sensor.

Nope, no adjustment on that sensor is necessary. Put it in, connect it up, and start er up.

Sorry that didn't fix it.....
