Big Block Accessory Question
I know big block cars except the Corvette used the short neck water pump up to 68, and the long pump from 69 on. Did the 68 and 69 blocks and heads have the accessory mounting holes in the same locations?

It's not the holes on the pump I'm worried about, it's the ones on the heads.

To my knowledge all big blocks from 65 to present have accessory bolt holes in the heads and in the same locations.
Up to 1970 they used the large spark plugs with the gasket washer. Somewhere in 1970 they changed to the tapered seat plugs.
