Noise on acceleration
I have an 85 Trans Am, and recently I developed this "noise" whenever I accelerate hard from a stop. It feels like its coming from where the trans meets the engine (??) (my radio actually shakes), it feels like a BUMP!
Any ideas what this could be? TIA

Another vote for the tranny mount. My car had the same problem. I have some advice though. Just go and buy the energy suspension (or some other poly) mount for like $15. I had my mechanic fix mine for $70, but I'm pretty sure he just used OEM GM replacement parts. I'd much have rathered to do it myself with an ES mount, but at the time I had just gotten the car and just wanted it fixed since he had it up on the rack anyways to fix some other stuff.
