JUst read above
If you read my enrty above you will see the cam I used. It is rough and lumpy. It is not what I wanted. It sounds good with the exhast and headers when you get it geared up but it sucks off the line. I am going to try a stall converter to see if it helps. Like I said it sounds good doesn't do squate for performace.

Re: cam for 305
Sirs,
Does anyone know? I just put in a Comp Cam 260H in my 86 LG4 Pontiac Firebird. Can I get away with putting in a Hypertech #12032 thermomaster chip or would I have to get a version for the HO 305 engines to make it work. Just looking for a cheap way to make sure the check engine light doesn't go off here.

Another vote for the Summit 1102. If you are dead set on Comp, take a look at the High Energy 252 or 260.
