EGR removal tips

does anyone have any tricks to removing the 2 bolts that hold the EGR to the intake manifold? the front one seems like it will come off, but i cant get anything near the rear one. it looks like i might have to remove the fuel rails. any thoughts???

I know it's a b*tch of a job. Did it on my 305 last fall cause the blasted thing stuck open. I had to use a small open ended wrench to get to both of the bolts, but I did manage to do it w/o pulling the fuel rail. It's a stinker, and you can only move the bolt a little bit at a time so it takes a while. Good Luck!
