painting alumnium heads
can you paint alumnium heads? i dont see why you couldnt but i dont know so i decided to ask. i want mine to be black to match my block. or would that be a bad idea?

yes it is
but i want to make it all look a little more uniform. will the black paint do me any harm as far as detonation? im running a pretty high about 10.5:1 compression on pump gas and the alumnium heads will help but will that black paint hold in any heat that will cause detonation?
