bogging problem w/ new engine

Well the engine has about 3000 miles on it since the rebuild. It's a 355 w/ HSR, ZZ4 cam, Pro Topline heads etc etc. It just started bogging about 2 weeks ago and it isnt going away. It does it more frequently now. When I first noticed it, the car was not completely warmed up yet and I stepped on it from a stop. 1st and second went by good but as soon as it shifted to 3rd, it was like someone threw the tranny into neutral. I let off and it drove fine afterwards. It has done that once since. Mainly though it just completely bogs w/ mostly anything over 2k rpms about 80% of the time. It's like the engine will sound like it is WOT but I am being held back and not going anywhere. I dont know if the tranny is slipping bigtime or what. Sometimes though it will bog pretty good but then intermittently surge but then bog again through the same gear. I have not checked anything yet for the problem but Ive read that most people say it is usually the TPS going bad or bad. I checked it a month or two ago before I had the problem and it was fine. I dont know if it can just suddenly go bad or what. But anyway, what does this sound like to you? And what things would you recommend I check first?

I did just buy a new AFPR but I dont think that is the problem. Does anyone else have any suggestions as to what this might be? I checked the TPS again today and it does still work fine. It is definately something else.

nobody has any feedback at all? To me, I think it might be more of a tranny problem because now today I noticed that when going really slow up to like 10-15 mph, it goes to about 2k rpms or so before it shifts. It is like the tranny is just slipping real bad. I was just hoping that someone could at least tell me if that is what it sounds like. If it is the problem, is it the tranny going or the stock torque convertor? please help!
