Need help with engine problems, please help me out guys

Car Specs
87 Camaro RS 2.8L
5 speed, all stock
Hi guys about a few months ago I started having code 45 come on saying that the car was running rich but I didnt bother to really look into it that much because of lack of money to fix the problem and little knowledge about the problem. Anyways the other day I was driving and the car just stalled while I was driving it the rpm dropped soo low that it stalled, it sounded like the fuel was just not making it into the engine, do you guys know what can be causing the problem??
One other thing I was driving the other day and I was in 3rd gear and my foot was off the gas and suddenly the rpms just go up and the car started accelerating by itself I had this happen when I was at a light suddenly the rmps would just redline without me touching the pedal, I think both of the problems are related, please help me out with this. Thx a lot for any help
ps. I went and checked the car again for codes and its flashing 34 and 45

As far as the low RPM's after throwing that code, I'd maybe check your oxygen sensor and your cat. A rich mixture can kill that emissions junk. I'm not sure about the high RPM's, sounds like your car has a mind of it's own. Talk nicely to her, maybe that will calm her down.
