Car will not Start? Nothing new here.

My 91Z28 will not start. It likes to spin over but will not kick off. I changed my injectors the other night and it started fine for the first two tries. I wanted to listen to it once more and it did not start. I unplugged the IAC connector while it was running. Was this a mistake? I wanted to set it so it would idle better. I went to start it and no dice. The car has been running rough for awhile and never threw a code. I have not checked for spark yet to the plugs. I want to guess it is in the module on the distributor. Or my car does not like me anymore. Any help would be appreciated. BranT

Check for spark, check if you have fuel pressure.Does your fuel pump prime when you turn the key on? It could be your ignition module but they usually act up when the car gets hot when they are on their way out. When you do get it running, I would check for a vaccume leak somewhere as a start to fix the rough idle problem. Good luck

As far as unplugging the IAC while the car's running, that won't cause a no-start condition. You were right, it can even out the idle, if it's what's causing the problem in the first place. By unplugging it while the car is running the only problem you'll create is that the computer can't set the IAC out farther when you shut the car off, so the next time you try to start it the idle won't rev up like it usually does for the first few seconds. Yah, check the usual stuff like spark and fuel pressure. Also check to see that your injectors are getting pulses, could be that the computer went bad on you.

Your car doesn't like you anymore, you need to pay more attention to her.
