Will these mods work together?

I have a stock LG4 305 with the computer controlled carb and was wondering if these mods would boost my power a good deal.

1. Edelbrock Performer RPM Heads

2. Comp XE250 (has to be less than .450 valve lift according to the Cyl head requirements on a 305)

3. Hedman Long Headers

Plan on using the stock QJet/intake. Would I run into any problems with running the stock QJet and intake? Also...would I run into emission problems with the cylinder heads?

Thanks,
Matt

you shouldn't have any problems, but i'd consider an aftermarket intake.

A few more questions. Would a Performer work? Or should I go with the Performer RPM? I'm worried about emissions due to the fact that I live in Psuedo-California. I'd like to be able to get these parts to put on my 305 up until I get my 383 shortblock. Excluding of course the camshaft. I'm waiting to get the 383 because of emissions here.

Thanks,
Matt

get the Edelbrock air gap, a little better than rpm intake.

My car has an EGR so I'm thinking I'll need to stick with the regular Performer for the smog police.

Do the RPM heads have EGR? You may need it for smog. Do they make RPM heads with smaller than 2.02/1.6 valves? You will need a max of 1.94/1.50.

For a 305 those combustion chamber volumes (64cc) and the dished pistons of the 305 LG4 will send the cr in the dumpster.

Check worlds 305 torker heads.
