Checking Fuel Pressure

When I check for pressure loss after shutting off the engine I need to pinch off the feed and return lines.
Is the right spot to do it where the rubber hose is between the steel lines near the left front corner of the engine bay?
What is best to use to do this (vise grips)?

That's where I pinched mine off at. I used a C clamp with some thin wood strips between the clamp and the hose so I wouldn't knick it. I guess Vise grips would work also.
