battery relocation help

battery relocation help

i want to move my battery to the trunk. now do i need a special type of battery box because the battery fums or will any battery box do?

If you want to be NHRA legal you will need a sealed box, like the Moroso one... thats what I have. Don't forget that you will need a 2 pole disconnect switch too. I would highly recommend getting a Optima dry cell battery so you won't have to worry about acid or fumes. You can find more specific info if you do a search in the drag racing forum. Heres a couple of helpful links to the moroso site and a battery relocation article..its a truck but the same principle applies. Send me a PM or email if you need any more infot.
