Question on starter replacement
Question on starter replacement
I just put a new starter in, the old one looked like it had overheated, terminals on solenoid were"heat/corrosion" damaged as well as the wire coming out of the starter itself that goes to the solenoid.
Question is, car still won't start, solenoid does not "click". Would a fusible link be bad and if so where should I look for it?

The fusible links are the smaller wires that go to the large terminal on the starter along with the positive batt cable.
Make suer you have the purple wire with the small terminal, connected to the "S" terminal on the solenoid, which is the one closer to the block; not the "R" terminal.
