What would it take to add Air Conditioning to an 87 camaro that did not come stock with it? Thanks

find a 87 camaro in the junkyard, take the heater-ac box, control panel, freon lines, compressor, condenser, dryer reciever, put it on your car.since you will probably have to use 134a freon you may want to get a compresser for 134a

Actually there are aftermarket ac kits i never used one though. What you might want to try is go to the junk yardt and find a mustang 2 <-- no joke! with aftermarket ac installed. The ford dealers installed ac on almost every mustang 2 and it is a simple system that could easily fit into our fbodys.
I have seen this done to a dodge PU with the M2 ac and the guy told me it took him about 6 hours to complete using an ac braket for a dodge with the ac pump for dodge, and the condenser and lines from the mustang along with the little control box from the mustang "that means you could use GM stuff on the engine and the rest from the rustang!"
If you can find these parts it would be easyer than swiching the heater box and climate controllsv on you car.
