Car Starts and Dies...

I recently picked up an 85 IROC for a project car with a 305 TPI and at first it would idle at about 1200 rpm, but would at least start for me. Now, it will start and run for a second and die. I can keep the engine running by feathering the gas, but it will miss really bad and as soon as I stop, it dies. I just put on a new Moroso tune up kit on the car, so it has new plugs, cap, rotor, wires, and also a MSD hei coil, which did help, and I found that the vacuum line that goes from the intake manifold to the power brake booster was cracked, and replaced that as well. This made the motor rev a little better, but the problem still persists. I think I may have a huge vacuum leak somewhere, anyone else have any ideas?

Is the fuel filter clogged? Maybe it needs to be replaced.

Replaced the fuel filter already actually, (had the origional filter on it with 110000 miles...) and checked fuel pressure, fuel pressure is at 45psi, which is more than enough. TPS sensor checked out ok. Just a really weird problem. Thanks for the reply though!

If it were an '86-up MAF I'd tell you to swap the MAF relays. On yours, well it will depend if you have an early or late year TPI. You might have a bad MAF or MAF module. Don't know how to diagnose the '85's as I run screaming like a little girl anytime I come across them.
