my alternator tests good, i have tested it, and i have taken it to pep boys to get it tested with a load, it reads good, but after driving on the highway, my battery is down, has anyone else had the problem, what else could it be, or is it actually the alternator

 

replace the lead wire or check for breaks in the wire itself.

 

You probally have a dead cell in your battery.

it may also be the voltage regulator.
