Right.

If you might ever consider running it again, disconnect and plug the hoses at the same time. Otherwise, back-flow into the pump will seize it up (go ahead, ask how I know this).

So I disconnect it then rip everthing out of the engine bay the connects to it?

I got a few questions about this

Does the Smog Equipment have any benifits? (besides the enviromnet)

Is my cars comp gonna be pissed?

Basicly without all this stuff if I take it out properly will the car run well.

I ran mine for 2 years without it, no issues. It's back on now, no issues.

The SES light never came on. The ECM sends voltage signals to the diverter valve but doesn't care if they're received.

I took it off when I did the mods in the sig (it was pretty much stock before). Mostly because I had to change the direction of the driver's side check valve, and I was too lazy to do it at the time.

I put it back on when it was due for emissions testing/inspection again. I had gone through that the morning I started disassembling for the mods, so it was due 2 years later. I've just left it on and running since then.
