trying to hook up a 3rd brake light , what wire do I splice ???
I am looking at the brake switch on my 85 Trans Am , 305 , LG4 , auto
I see the switch and two connectors coming out of it.. here are the colors of the wires...
green
yellow
light brown
purple
pink/black
orange
white
I'm trying to hook up my new Z28 high rise spoiler with the 3rd LED brake light... (from www.spoiler2000.com).

I asked this earlier and was told that it's the light blue wire , but as you can see light blue isn't there

That is not the brake light switch...
The brake light switch is mounted on the bracket that holds teh pivot for the pedals. It only has 2 wires coming from it. IIRC they are orange and white. I think the orange is supply and the white is the switched one, that's where you'd hook it.
