Setting IAC and TPS..no, tech article is unclear
Ok, I've read the articles on the board and I have a couple of Q's.
IAC
I found about 10 different ways to 're-spec' my IAC. Do I use the paper clip deal before turning on the ignition or do I just turn the ignition on and wait 30sec then go remove the IAC connector? WTF.
TPS
Which pins do you read the voltage from. Last I checked, there are 3 pins on the sensor and the 'article' that has been on this board for a while now makes no mention of the pins.

------------------
89 GTA G92
305 TPI WC 5spd w/3.45
Accel Cap & 8mm Taylor's
Custom 4" Cold Air Induction
Jet Airfoil
K&N Airfilter
160 deg stat/fan switch TB Bypass - Steel Rad
Cat back 3" Exhaust w/Terminator Muff.
HiGh FlOw Dynomax Cat
Spohn LCA's - KYB GR-2's
Moroso Crank Bolt and roller pilot bearing.
New Fuel Pump!
Autometer Vac+Oil Temp

For the IAC, you put the paperclip in ALDLD A and B, turn thr key to 'on', wait 30 seconds, disconnect the IAC WHILE the key is on and the paperclip is still in the ALDL, then you remove paperclip and start the car, set the min idle...
For the TPS, honestly, i forget. The middle is the signal wire, but i don't remember which wire is the reference ground, as a WAG i think it's the bottom one. Doens't matter, check both, if the voltage starts high and decreases as you move throttle you're on the wrong one.

LOL, see what I mean! The tech article says to remove the IAC plug and then start up the car. It doesn't say anything about pulling the paper clip out before starting the car!
Thanks again

The output voltage is read from the top wire.
