Interesting article on TPI; torque; and incidentals...

This is a fairly good article for the overview it gives you. Most of the conclusions are sound, however, I would not agree the miniram is the only way to go.
They do touch upon a subject that seemingly is ignored by most people running TPI, and that is the toruqe production and gear selection for these cars.
They also got a good result from the Art Carr TQ converter. Anyone else have any experience with these?

Interesting RD, thanks for Sharing.

I Have always wonderd, Why Alot of the guys here who build Low RPM torque monsters, Go and get a set Of Deep gears, wich Rev them Right out of their Powerband At the end of the 1/4

Seems To me, That alot of Time could be Lost, By Matching The gears so that You Coasted through the trap Right past Power peak.

Just Another case, Showing How Building A Motor With Your brain, and Not just the wallet ( Not to say that MR's Or The rest of His Machine work wasnt spendy.. but still.. ) produces a superior Product.

And For all you guys Saying stock TPI is slow, LAst time I Cheked 12.74 was pretty Damn fast, On a stock TPI.

Throw that in a solid rear axle car, Like our Fbods, and Another Tenth, possibly.

All On a street Driven car, Shows that its not only the Turbo Guys Who can Do that )

Im really Looking Forward to Installing TPI on My SC.

I agree with it. Torque is for semis and offroad trucks. If you really wanna go fast, you gotta ditch the TPI for something that breathes better.
