TPI timing?

You need to locate the EST bypass connector, a single wire connector (forget the color coding), on my car it's located behind the pass. side strut tower..
Anyway, start the car (warmed up to operating temp in closed loop) and disconnect the EST line.
Adjust the sitributor CW or CCW to get 6* BTDC (stock setting), then tighten the hold down, shut the car off, reconnect the EST line.
If you reconnect the line prior to shutting the car off, the SE light will stay on.
Good luck.
