Mini Ram II on a 406......
I may be getting a 90 IROC soon, and since the TPI is already on there (dont have to go through the trouble of swapping one in, yea!), what kind of power do you think is attainable with the following combo:
406, Forged pistons (not sure what brand, fill in if you want)
Forged Scat Crank
Splayed 4-bolt Mains
AFR 220 Heads
And this!
A Mini Ram II!

I am not sure what cam I would be able to run, never thought about doing this before. Any suggestions. Thanks guys!

try and find something in the range of 230-235 duration at 050 on intake and at least 550 lift. The only potential problem I see is that the miniram is sized for about a 195 cc intake port. You will have a gasket mismatch and I don't think matching the intake will fix it.

I guess I could save a few bucks and get teh 195cc heads.. The enegine most likely wont see anything much greater than 6000 rpm, where the 220cc heads would kick in.
