GTA rims, what shade of black

I just picked up 4 gold color GTA rims, and want to paint them black. What shade did the factory use, flat, gloss, semi-gloss, satin, what?

I used Eastwood company's Satin Black Rim paint with their clear coat on top. Looks great!

Also, I think that GM's black ones were not painted, the gold was, but the black was something else. I have a set in the back yard and can not figure out what the heck it is, it almost looks powder coated.

Why would you want to paint them...the gold ones are the most desireable. I have charcoal on my T/A and wish I had the gold.

When I stripped my rim down, under the black there's the gold which is a much stronger finish...whatever it is...from the factory.
