ZZ4 owners inside!

I'm thinking of putting the ZZ4 intake on my 305 instead of the performer. All I really want to know is if it will bolt right up to the stock cast iron heads, or does the ZZ4 have the Vortec aluminum heads that are different?

The ZZ4 intake has the standard bolt pattern. Meaning, it will bolt right up to stock heads. The ZZ4 uses L98 aluminum heads, which are the same bolt pattern as your stockers.

Ok, someone told me that the intake is an emissions legal Edelbrock Performer RPM. And somebody else told me it's a Performer.

I have a performer manifold in my room right now, and if i can get a emissions legal RPM that would be soo much better than the Performer. Just really need clarification as to what it really is. Thanks.

I believe the performer has provisions for EGR and the rpm doesn't.

If you have a performer, why bother with the ZZ4 intake unless you have it on hand too. I've seen both, and the ZZ4 intake doens't look any better than the performer.
And AFAIk there are no performer RPMs with provisions for EGR.
