How to get code for check engine light ???

Hi guys,iam new at forums,and i dont know if this question was asked,but its hard to find right answer in such big forum,so i hope i can get help.
The problem is i get this check engine light when i go about 60 mph,but i dont know what is goin on and whats wrong because my car run fine,so how can i check what code is it,so i can fix it

welcome, try this if you've not already
might be on the home page FAQ or tech section if not the basic info is to short the a&b terminal of the ALDL with a paper clip and count flashes of the SES light
