I bought a brand new set of Accel 30# from Summit about a month ago.

Rich @ CruzinPerformance said that over the last year, Accel has stepped up their QC and is shipping flow charts with their injector sets. My set however did not have this and must be from before these changes. I did notice though most of the problems people were having before were with the 26# not the 30#.

My question, should I go ahead and install them now or should I:

A) Pay Rich to flow test them for me

OR

B) See if Summit has a newer set they will let me exchange for even though my order is a month old

P.S. Please now flames or comments about Accel injectors Vs. other brands, my choice if MY choice and that's not what this post is about. Thanks.

 

You must have done major mods Alex to need 30s. I thought 23s would be perfect in most modded 305.

Oh to answer your question, I would run them. I see no reason to have rich check them, I pretty sure accel flow test all of there injectors.

 

Now they test all of their injectors but I don't know if they did before this past year.

I have 30#'s because I have a ProCharger D-1SC going on in a few months. I'm slowly adding things like the Walbro pump, 2 bar map, etc. For now I'll be adjusting my bin for the 30#'s to run on my engine N/A because unexpectedly 2 of my factory injectors took a dump...
