where is the distributor hold down bolt?

where is the distributor hold down bolt?

Where is it??

Stand on the passenger side of your engine compartment and look down toward the base of your intake manifold where the distributor drops down into the engine. You'll see it...barely. It's probably a 9/16" hex head.

And if you're really lucky, you might be able to reach it... but not turn it...

you'll need a distributor wrench to get it though

I used a 14mm crow foot wrench w/a u-joint socket to get to mine
