350 TPI- New mods...?

I have a 1987 Transam GTA with an 88 350 TPI motor. I wanted to know, in order, what modifications I should do to the motor/car. So far, I have a Hypertech PROM chip, a cone filter (i rid of the air box assembly), 3" exhaust with Flowmaster muffler, and 8mm Accel spark plug wires, bosch platinum plugs. I eliminated the cat, smog pump, and a/c pulley if that all means anything; I have also stripped all of the emissions from the engine.
Later on down the road I would like to put a lot more money into rebuilding a 350 TPI with all highperformance parts...but, in the meantime, I wanted to know, without spending $1,000's, what order of mods. I should do.
Also, how far down the mods. should/could I install a supercharger or blower kit, or would a 383 stroker kit be a better route....?

A nice pair of headers would be a decent upgrade if you haven't done so already.

You could also do the cheap (freebie) throttle body coolant bypass. That might keep the coolant from heating up your intake air a little bit.

I still think a TPI system will choke a decent natural aspirated motor but that's my opinion. As for superchargers/turbos/nitrous... 383 builds check around the forum there is endless posts on that kind of stuff.

If you're wanting a little better handling you might consider an aftermarket Wonderbar (connects the front sway bar mounts together providing better handling at the low cost of around 60 to 70 bucks total).

Also Sub Frame Connectors are a nice start too you can have a really nice motor that's making good amount of HP but it's gonna still be slow if it can't get traction. 70%+ of the people you talk to on here usually agree a wonderbar and SFCs can make a world of difference and they would consider doing them first if the knew that before. (SFCs need to be weld'd in so you'll have a little time of interior disassembly to pull carpet up and having someone weld it for ya).

You could even go ahead and do some relocation brackets for the LCAs there around 50 bucks or so but they have to be weld'd in also (that's why it's kind of easy to do it same time as SFCs).

check out www.spohn.net he makes a lot of nice products for suspension and chassis for our cars. I'm running his lower control arms, SFCs, brackets, and tq arm. Very nice products.
