what is this black and white wire ? need some help.,

what is this black and white wire on my distributor ??? what do i do with it ?? and do i run a vaccuum line from the distributor to the carb ?

350 bored 30 over ..882 casting heads ..comp cam..hooker headers.. 700r4 corvette servo .. 3.73 and SLP posi no hood on the car , holley 750 CFM, performer RPM intake.. and umm couple other things here and there

if you told us what kind of car and engine it'd help out a lot. i'd guess you have a non ecm controled distributor with vacuum advance so you would need to run a lie from it to a port on the carb.

sorry i got a 91 RS but i am putting a 350 in it right now . the distributor is an accel vaccuum advance dual point. but there are 2 wires comming from it that i have no idea where it goes..
