Cruise Vacuum Line

I have a vacuum line that was burned in half. One end was connected to a T up near the firewall, on the driver's side, near the brake booster. I think it ran to the back of the plenum and connected into a black dome near the distributor. Is that correct? I'll put a picture up in a bit, if needed.

One of the other lines likely routed to the HVAC controls inside the passenger compartment. The other liley routed around the brake booster and forward toward the cruise control servo.

Black dome near the distributor? Az photo would be very informative, I'm sure.

The line that got burned came off this T and went towards the passenger's side, I think. I traced the rest of the line forward to the cruise control ball and diaphragm. It all looked intact.

I'm not sure if that line attached to the "black ball" in the second picture but maybe someone else knows for me. There appears to be a vac line that comes off the passengers side, then goes around the back towards the drivers'.

This is the "black ball" I spoke of. What is it?

I'm wrong. That vacuum line doesn't go to the plenum. It goes across the firewall and then down behind where the plug wire rack is. I took a piece of 5/16 rubber hose and connected the ends but nothing seems to have changed. The cruise still doesn't work. I don't know what to do next!

It's a bit difficult to see in the photos, but I believe that black sphere to which you are referring is the vacuum reservoir for the cruise servo and HVAC controls. They are notorious for cracking and leaking, which can render the cruise and air outlet controls useless. The blue "T" is likely the vacuum check valve for the cruise and HVAC. According to my diagrams, however, the source for that should be the fitting on the right side of the plenum, just behind the fitting for the FPR vacuum connection.
