are my spark plugs hot or cold?

I am currently using an oem plug for my camaro - R45TS. Is this known as a coll plug or a hot plug. If it is a hot plug, what are my options in getting a cooler plug?

One more question. If I bypassed the egr solenoid (having problems there) and had a hose going straight to the egr valve from the throttle body port, would that be just as good? Muchos gracias, compadres.
